Keri Lake is a coastal settlement with a colourful beach, at the southwest coast of Zakynthos. It is located in the gulf of Laganas, within the limits of the Zakynthos National Marine Park which is in place to protect the endangered loggerhead turtles, known locally as Caretta Caretta.

Keri Lake and the nearby village of Keri has beautiful scenery, lush green vineyards, stunning mountains, deep blue Ionian Sea, sandy beaches and a picturesque port. From the beach you can see the uninhabited Island of Marathonisi, sometimes known as Turtle Island as the turtles use its sandy beaches to lay their eggs.

Along the coast and most definitely worth a visit is the Keri Caves, also the lighthouse and not forgetting the many small traditional tavernas where you can sample the local dishes.

Those who love hiking will find amazing paths that lead to steep areas with a unique view of the Ionian. In the area are also scuba diving schools, a very interesting hobby for many visitors and can give you the opportunity to discover a wonderful unknown world under the sea.
